Scopa Caffé Cucina in the hub of Wellington’s Cuba St district has taken out the prestigious award for The Huhtamaki Outstanding Café at the inaugural Capital Awards.

When Patrick Lam, owner of Goldstar Bakery Rotorua and Patrick’s Pies Café and Bakery Tauranga arrived at the Bakels New Zealand Supreme Pie Awards dinner in late July he had a chance of 1 in 4336 of winning the Supreme title.

SUBWAY restaurants have been voted New Zealand’s number one trusted fast food brand. It is the second year in a row that the quick service restaurant has taken out the top spot in its category in the Reader’s Digest Most Trusted Brands Survey.
